„Working“ in the fitness industry is amazing. Not only because the „clients“ are very nice and happy but also to learn how this business works. I was very surprised to find a huge lack of communication processes as well „self marketing“ tools. Example: Try to find a good Pilates trainer in Zurich (with reviews). Forget Google because there is no index or community. Your only change is to ask a friend if she/he may know one.
Story number 2: Some years ago I a had the idea to create a networking tool for „Not-On-LinkedIn“ people. These are those funky self-made people like bicycle experts, travel experts, drivers, amateur translators, fitness loves, healthy food addicts etc. You may remember the Facebook App „BenchOut“. They tried hard to use Facebook to create a „real“ business network. I liked the idea but today Facebook Apps are dead as well BenchOut.
Anyway: The last days if revoked my idea of a very, very simple and honest network for „passionate experts“. Above you see the very first wireframe.
As an expert you are able to add you „business“ (I am good at….). The app connects to Facebook and allows to search for those experts within your friends and friends of friends. That’s it. Simple&easy.
